Exercise For At Least 30 Minutes

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends exercising in the midst of a pandemic at least 30 minutes per day, five times a week. Don’t forget to do the exercise with the correct stages, for example starting with a warm-up, core movements, and ending with a cool down for five minutes. The correct stages of physical training will keep you from scratching.

Do Physical Exercise At Home

During a pandemic, a house that is kept clean is the safest area for shelter. Not only for living, but activities to stay safe, sports can also be done at home more freely. By only interacting with one’s own family, of course, the risk of contracting the virus is less. Even at home, the physical exercise you do can be optimal.

Drink Enough Water

After finishing exercising, don’t forget to drink enough water so you don’t become dehydrated. Every day you need to consume at least 2.5 liters of water. Drinking enough water will help burn fat and increase metabolism. Water intake can also facilitate the digestive tract. In addition, the balance of fluids in the body can strengthen the body’s immune system.

Solo Type Sports

When you are tired of exercising at home and want to do outdoor sports, reduce direct contact with other people and use sports equipment together, you should avoid sports in the fitness center or gym, you also need to avoid team or community sports. Do sports in the midst of a pandemic solo, such as walking, jogging or running, cycling, skipping and others

Use A Mask When Exercising

While exercising outside the home, you still have to implement proper health protocols. Even though it feels uncomfortable at first, use a cloth mask of at least two layers to cover your mouth and nose while exercising. Because it is proven, the use of masks reduces the risk of contracting COVID-19. The sweat that comes out while exercising might make your mask wet quickly. This will reduce the ability of the mask to filter air. For that, prepare a backup mask to replace the mask so that it is always dry.

Maintain A Distance

During outdoor sports, you may meet many people who are both exercising. Try to keep a safe distance from other people of at least two meters. With a safe distance, you will avoid the risk of touching or getting droplets from the mouths and noses of people who have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. During physical training, you are also not advised to chat with other people.
